Anchor Block

Anchor block allows you to create internal links to quickly jump from one part/block of your page to another.

How To Add The WP Search Block

1. Open a page or a post and click on the plus icon to add a new block and look for the WP Search or you can search for it if it doesn’t pop up quickly for you.

How To Configure The Anchor Block

The Settings Panel under the ‘General’ tab allows you to add an identifier for your anchor block.

HTML Anchor - A text area for you to add the identifier text for the anchor block.

• Add the anchor block where you want to land after clicking the link and add the identifier text in the HTML Anchor field of the Settings Panel. The identifier text should be unique.

• Highlight any text/ button that you want to use as a link.

• Click on the link icon and type # and paste the identifier you used in the ‘HTML Anchor’ field of the anchor block.

• Press Enter to create the link.

• Clicking on the link will land on the part where you created the anchor block.
